BARBARA BETTS

Art found me later in life and I began to take classes at the Ah Haa School in Telluride. Through theatre and art workshops, the last thirty years of my life have been filled with experimentation and exploration.  

I primarily work with mixed media including paper, wax, fabric, cardboard, found objects and natural materials.  If you toured my studio, you’d find remnants of my past alongside newly discovered materials — a “mish-mash” in and on every drawer, cabinet, table, shelf, and floor.  

And there I’ll be celebrating life’s messy, quirky, absurd journey — fussing about and loving each and every moment.
