
PEGGY ERICKSON
Arizona and Colorado Photographer Peggy Erickson has a career spanning almost two decades which has allowed her to develop a distinctive style. Her natural, unique approach has given her a loyal clientele base who are captivated by her work. In recent years, Peggy has shifted her focus to Equine Photography resulting in dramatic fine art pieces displaying both the eloquence and form of the Horse.
Born in the US and raised in New Zealand, Peggy started photographing rugged seasides and horses in her teen years. She also traveled throughout Fiji and Tahiti where she began capturing the beauty of the South Pacific with her camera. While back in the US, she was introduced to world-renowned photographer Phyllis Lane. After observing Peggy’s passion for the art form along with her ability to capture mood and beauty, Lane chose to mentor Peggy and helped her master her technique and style.
Peggy has been photographing people and horses in her own precise and unique way for nearly 20 years in Arizona, California and Colorado. She is truly an expert in the art of photography. Peggy’s passion is capturing the Horse naturally both in stillness and in movement.
Peggy Erickson resides both in Phoenix, Arizona and Rico, Colorado and is married with two children. Her work can be found in collections both stateside and internationally.
